Why does wearing lipstick make my whole face feel oily?
Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but my face feels great all day until I put on lipstick, then I'm oily the rest of the day. No, i'm not getting the lipstick on my face. Its not my face cleaner, lotion, or foundation because all that is great without lipstick. Once I put on lipstick I'm having to use face blotters to absorb all that oil the rest of the day. Am I nuts?
Maybe there is something in your lipstick that your system can't handle. It may be making your body produce oils and other things to combat what it feels is an attack on the epidermis. Try a new lipstick brand and see if that helps.
