Help with pimples/uneven skin tone?
I break out alot at random times... Right now I have alot of pimples and blemishes on my face... When I use my coverup it makes them look really dry and flaky and I feel like my skin looks even WORSE. My skin tone is also very uneven and also makes my skin appear dirty..
I wash my face three times a day (using Cetaphil wash, once when I wake up, once before work, and once before bed) I also use moisturizer after I wash my face, but my skin is still always very dry and tight. At night I use Differin (my dermatologist prescribed it to me)
How can I clear up my skin forever? I'm getting really sick of seeing pimples when I look in the mirror. I'm waiting for the day when I can leave the house without any coverup on at all...
I used to be the EXACT same way. I have used everything from proactive to pills and topical treatments & also used differin for about 5 months but it completely screwed up my skin and made it 10 times worse than before. I went to my gyno & she prescribed me Ortho-tricyclen (a birth control pill) and it has COMPLETELY cleared up ALL my acne, no joke. I had researched a lot about acne & ways to clear it up and my doctor told me 75% of women see most or all their acne subside when going on a birth control pill. I still wash my face morning & night with cetaphil ( just to keep a clean face ) but i don't have 1 pimple on my face/back/chest! I would deff recommend going to your doctor & asking for it if you're able to !
