Could indoor tanning lotions that contain hemp make you test postive for THC on a drug test?
I know this probably sounds really stupid, but I was looking online for a new tanning lotion and there are some that say THC free. And I know alot of the lotions contain hemp. So I was wondering if there is a reason people may need something THC free. I am just wondering because I tan everyday and I am going to be looking for a new job soon. And if I have to take a drug test, I dont want to look like I smoke weed because of my tanning lotion.
Hemp and pot are not the same thing. Hemp is the common term for the fibrous part of the plant, i.e. the stem. Pot on the other hand is usually the flower buds of the plant, unless someone sold you a bag of schwag! Hehe. THC levels in hemp are very, very low, because THC is concentrated in crystals on the bud, not the stems, and during processing, any crystals that might be on the stem are usually cleaned/fall off. Residual amounts in the vascular tissues (of the plant) is minimal, and not enough to be absorbed through your skin and show up on a drug test.
