What's medium-heavy coverage foundation from: Mary Kay, Maybelline, Physicians Formula, Revlon?
And a good concealer. I have dark circles under my eyes (hereditary) and rosacea (also hereditary) on my cheeks. I don't want anything too cakey looking, but I want the coverage to be there.
I've used BARE MINERALS for a year, but only b/c I paid so much for it. It made me break out really bad and never gave me the coverage I wanted (unlike the infomercials).
I've also used Cover Girl Aquasmooth, Almay TLC, and the Maybelline Mineral Power stuff... none of it worked very well.
I wash my face morning and night with Biore' pore unclogging scrub (kind of a creamy texture with little green beads in it). I don't use moisturizers b/c they tend to make my face greasy.
I have oily skin.
I'm not sure about those brands, I don't like Maybelline or Revlon very much. But Estee Lauder double wear gives great coverage! And you can build it up in areas that need more. Chanel Vitalumiere is also really good. Check that the foundation is oil free too!
You should still moisturise, but use one that is designed for oily skin and that reduces shine - it will help. Let it absorb into your skin for 10 mins before applying make-up. Use some loose powder to set the foundation too.
