Why is this indoor tanning lotion i bought at walmart prohibited at my tanning salon?
i just bought an unlimited monthly pass and now they finally ask me what kind of lotion im using. its t2 max made by hawaiian tropic. the witch told me that it contains chemicals that damage the acrylic on the machines, but she was super quick to offer me a 4 dollar PACKET of their lotion or a bottle (most of them costing between $25-80.....are these people CRAZY?! i bought a packet once, and it didnt even contain enough lotion to cover my whole body! i splurged when i bought myself the unlimited month for 20 bucks.... and i just spent about 10 for this bottle of tmax... aaand of course its like the only company i didnt see on their list of "acceptable" lotions.
is this crap true? or should i just sneak the tmax in? i want to follow their rules and all, but im so broke...in not spending 25 bucks on a bottle of friggin lotion....
Some lotions contain chemicals that can cause crazing (small cracks) to the acrylic panels. Maybe make a copy of the ingredients on the suggested one, but a cheaper one containing the same additives, if they say no then show them the labels and ask why... or just search for their recommended one on the internet, bound to be cheaper !
