do u NEED to use lotion when on a tanning bed?
So i went tanning for the very first time and they charged me 10 bucks for a little packet of tanning lotion that i didnt even ask for. Is it neccesary to get a good tan. If so...can anyone reccomend a cheap but effective brand? thanks!!
You do want to use a good tanning lotion when you tan indoors. Moist skin tans better than dry skin. Today's lotions contain good ingredients to help accelerate your tan.
However, you do NOT have to pay the prices of the highly marked-up lotions at the salon. You can find the SAME lotions on Ebay for a fraction of the price. Buy from a seller named Geocorb. He sells unopened, new, high end lotions at an affordable price, and he ships lightning quick.
If you want an affordable, lower end but decent lotion, try indoor lotions by Australian Gold. You may want to try one with a bronzer which should give you instant color.
One thing you want to make sure you do is to only use indoor tanning lotion when tanning indoors. Outdoor lotion contains ingredients that can be damaging to the acrylic of tanning equipment.
