why does my skin flake off?
i have very dry skin and i easily break out. i use an olay bar of soap to wash my face and i use olay beauty fluid to hydrate my skin. at night i use one of those little face scrubbers to scrub off the dead skin but when i apply my foundation it looks caked on and it looks flaky (I use neutragena for acne treatment. i need to use light things because i live in florida and it's so humid!) . what can i do to fix this problem?! please help im dying here 
Try DOVE moisturizing bar instead of your other(Olay) bar, use a exfoliator/scrub, like St. Ives Invigorating Scrub- (it is the best) every day and if you are using the Neutrogena acne treatment , that will dry out your skin, for sure. Just use the acne creme on blemishes and do not spread all over your face....that is way too drying and is causing the flakiness.
1. Wash face 2x a day with Dove
2. Follow up with witch hazel, which has very low alcohol
3. Use the scrub every day
4. Use a light WATER-based moisturizer only on your DRY areas. Sounds like you have T-zone oiliness..-forehead-nose-chin area.
5. use blemish medication only where needed....
That should help to improve your problem, especially with that humidity
