Hey, I have an Warhammer 40k Elder army and i dont know how to paint Biel-Tan Elder Rangers, can anyone help?
I've have seen how Elder Rangers are painted, but i have no idea how to paint them, with which colors and all that, what do i undercoat them with? Drybrush? or what, anyone that has any idea, please say something
Do you mean how to paint miniatures in general or Biel-Tan Eldar Rangers/Pathfinders specifically?
Biel-Tan is basically green & white, you can follow the exact color-scheme on the Games Workshop website or use your own variations; I'd probably use Dark Angels Green and Bleached Bone for the base colors but scout-type Eldar could just as easily be dressed in camouflage and still look right.
I almost always undercoat with Skull White Primer (spray lightly, don't try to get 100% solid coverage) because I find it's a bit of a chore working up through undercoats to get a bright base coat.
Shade with dark blue or a mix of blue and green (maybe a little black) and highlight with Goblin Green or Scorpion Green - just try out a few colors and see what you like best.
